We are pleased to present this 1979 Camaro Z28. Although it no longer sports the elongated stripes it originally came with, or its original color when made in November of 1978, the Z28's three piece front spoiler and hood inset speak for themselves. The original 350 V8 engine has been replaced with a rebuilt 350 from a 1988 Chevy that came with the factory throttle-body fuel injection that is even better than the original. It is paired with the original 3 speed automatic transmission that easily handles the extra power through the factory 10 bolt rear end. This “Super Hugger” really goes and sounds fantastic with its custom dual exhaust system with long-tube headers. For the driver's enjoyment, it has cold A/C and an aftermarket AM/FM/CD system. If you prefer the open air, then removing the factory T-Tops will do the trick. The dark gray paint is in very good condition with only a couple blemishes to the front fascia and a couple bubbles on the passengers rear quarter below the window. The black on black interior is in great shape except for one small blemish to the passengers rear seat. The glass is nice and clear. The dash has no cracking or fading. All gauges on the dash work with the exception of the speedometer- we are looking into the cause. This vehicle qualifies for a 90 day ASC drivetrain warranty. We can arrange shipping to your location. If you have any questions, please contact Savannah Classic Cars 912-235-2347.
